First of all, we will start exploring the beauty of the northern towns starting from Chefchaouen, the blue pearl of Morocco, to Fes, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. We will also stop to explore Ifran, Azrou and Midelt. As we leave Midelt, the tour will take the southern road to Merzouga, Erg Chebbi dunes, nomad camps, Dades valley, and Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa. Besides, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait benhaddou before heading to Marrakech where we will have our last tour before accompanying you to the airport.
During the first day of your trip, we will meet you at the port or airport. We will cross the Rif mountains and the city of Tetouan to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains until we reach Chefchouen, one of the impressive villages at the foot of the Rif mountains. The medina of Chefchouen has a Spanish-style square surrounded by many arts and crafts, the best restaurants and cafes, where you will have lunch. You can stroll through its beautiful streets painted white and blue and have tea on one of the panoramic terraces to observe the landscape. Later, we will continue our journey towards Fez.
After breakfast in your riad, you will begin to know the oldest city in Morocco walking through its streets and alleys. Our visit begins by visiting the Royal Palace, the Bab Bou Jeloud Gate, the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest, including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in Africa, the tanneries, the Attarine museum and the Mulay Idriss Mausoleum. After breakfast at your hotel, you will leave for Merzouga. The route will take us to Ifrane and the fascinating passage of Tiz Ntalghamt and the Ziz Gorges, you can see the views of the High Atlas plateau and see the change of landscape until revealing the desert tracks when approaching the city of Errachidia . Later, you will travel along the lush Ziz Valley, where stops will be made along the road to Erfoud and Rissani to be able to contemplate different panoramic views. After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel through the Dades Valley to the Kelaa Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The tour of the Dades Valley is the path of a thousand Kasbahs that provides numerous opportunities to take some of the best photographic shots of the trip as well as the contiguous Valley of the Roses. We will continue to the city of Ouarzazate, famous for film studios. On the way to Marrakech, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui, one of the last Berber chiefs during the early twentieth century, which used to be one of its stops during its Long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech, it is now declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The landscape will change dramatically when crossing the High Atlas, finding attractive panoramic views and Berber villages all the way to Marrakech. Accommodation in Riyadh.
After breakfast at the Riad, the visit of Marrakech "the red city" will take place. We will ensure that the most important places of historical and cultural interest are visited, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace. After lunch in a restaurant near the famous Jemma El-Fna Square. Later we will visit the souks where we will find samples of different crafts. In the afternoon, free time will be available to tour other parts of the city.
