This tour of Fez Desert tours 5 days takes you on a breathtaking expedition in the south of Morocco explore the gorge of Ziz along with it’s valley, you also tour the dunes and discover it’s tiny villages such as khamilia, home of black musicians, visit a nomad family, Plam Goves and Sahara Desert (Erg chebbi dunes)
Today we head to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou where wild monkeys are found. We will have lunch in a Berber village of Zaida. We continue the road through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the landscapes of Midelt. We pass through the famous city of Imilchil before reaching Todra Gorges at night where we spend the night.
Today after breakfast we discover Todra Gorges and then we go to the desert of Merzouga passing Erfoud and Rissani. We will stay at the desert hotel and have a free program to discover the desert area on your own.
Today we will have a 4 × 4 circuit tour around the desert. We will visit oasis, nomadic people and also the town of Khamlia (famous for its music). At night, we take a camel trek through the dunes to the desert camp where we spend the night in comfortable tents. We will see an incredible sunset in the desert.
After an early sunrise, we ride the camels back to Merzouga, and after taking the shower and breakfast we will continue our journey to Midelt. We will visit Souk in Rissani and also fossil shop and factory in Erfoud, we travel through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains. In Midelt we spent one night at the local hotel.
Today we will leave Midelt and drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and stop to feed the monkeys by hand. Then we will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early at night in Fez. We will finish our tour in Fez
